Prof. Nakamura has made a joint appointment as a lecture professor at Nankai University, Frontier Science Center for New Organic Matter. Starting in September 2025, this lab in Nankai University will hire several ambitious graduate students (PhD and Ms) and talented long-term postdocs in organic synthesis and electron microscopy, focusing on new materials and devices. 我々は，化学から物理まで，さまざまな研究手法を駆使してこの目標の実現に取り組んでいます． 具体的には、ありふれた元素を用いた有機合成や有機太陽電池の開発を通した「健やかな生活」や「資源問題やエネルギー問題」への貢献，原子分解能電子顕微鏡を用いた有機化学の新研究領域の開拓を目指しています．

We are striving to realize this goal by utilizing a variety of research methods ranging from chemistry to physics. Specifically, we aim to contribute to "healthy living" and "resource and energy issues" through organic synthesis using commonplace elements and the development of organic solar cells, and to explore new research areas in organic chemistry using atomic resolution electron microscopy.
